It is possible to reach Delhi by air, train and bus. The Indira Gandhi International Airport is found on the SW of the city while the domestic airport is found at Palam, about 5 km from the international terminal. Most international travelers use this airport for travel within the country.
Delhi is a major hub for Indian Railways with its extensive national network that connects to most parts of India . Though there is no local train system in Delhi , there are two major stations. One is located in Old Delhi and the other, in New Delhi . Reservations can be made at the IRCA building on Chelmsford Road while international tourists can use the help of its separate tourist counter.
Delhi also has road connectivity with five national Highways passing through it. To drive to and in Delhi , you need a driving license where minimum age requirement is 18 years. Foreigners however can drive in the city with international licenses.
