Traveling around Delhi is made convenient with the many taxis available in the city. The moment you come out of the airport, you have taxis waiting for you. However to be on the safer side, if you are on your first trip to Delhi , make it a point to note down the registration number of the taxi.
Besides the taxi, there are auto rickshaws available for transportation in Delhi where its rates are usually half the price of a taxi. There are also public buses available for public transportation; however be careful when boarding and alighting at the right spots.
